Costumes!!!
From simple costumes to award winning creations, I love making costumes. The ability to become someone or something else even for a short bit is so AWESOME! I can usually throw something together pretty quickly, but sometimes a costume needs work and can take days to make. Each one is special. Each is unique.
Here is our happy little group at the 1st annual Hall of Heroes comic-con in Elkhart Indiana.

My son wanted to be a "robot" because of the mask. This was mostly painted cardboard.
For painted cardboard, this turned out pretty good. there are a few things I would improve. Like an option to make it warmer. that was an extra cold Halloween. It did get him a full size candy bar at one of the houses he went to.

I think the eating of bugs gave me away though.
